An urban geography graduate, Linda was a journalist for more than 10 years
– working on the staff of Chemistry in Britain (proving that she really
can write about anything), Estates Gazette and Chartered Surveyor Weekly
(now known as Property Week), before becoming a freelance, writing about
the built environment for both the trade press and national newspapers such
as The Times and the FT
On taking the PR shilling, Linda first joined Strutt & Parker as in-house PR Manager and then became an Associate Director of Good Relations, where she set up and ran the Property Marketing Unit. Linda founded Cadenza Communications (which merged with Black & White Communications in 2001 to form Halogen) in 1993
Linda now provides strategic corporate and project communications advice to a wide range of clients and has also been charged with developing the Halogen business
Away from the office, Linda is training to be a farmer’s wife – but still keeps getting the silage mixed up with the slurry (messy)
