James joined Halogen after more than a decade working in journalism and PR. After learning his trade in the local press he took a break to travel around the world, including two months working as a reporter on Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Post.
On returning to England he spent two years at the Express & Star in the West Midlands covering politics and special investigations before moving to the Press Association and freelancing for the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
He moved into PR with a senior communications role at Hammersmith & Fulham Council, where he led communications on some of London’s biggest and most high profile regeneration projects.
Away from the office James can be found in the kitchen attempting to expand his culinary horizons beyond a pretty mean chilli and extolling the virtues of living in south east London.
