Halogen expands property PR & marketing team

Strategic property communications consultancy, Halogen, has expanded its team with the appointment of two new staff members.

New Account Manager, Rebecca Degiorgio, recently moved to the UK from Australia where she worked most recently as media manager for ASX top 20 listed company, AMP Limited. Prior to this she was a PR and marketing executive at leading Australian estate agency McGrath, after beginning her career at Cosway, one of the oldest Australian public relations consultancies.  Rebecca will be working on a range of schemes for Halogen clients including Realis Estates’ East West Centre redevelopment in Stoke-on-Trent as well as projects for Henderson Global Investors, including Whitefriars, Canterbury.

Ludo Baynham-Herd joins the Halogen team as an Account Executive, following a number of internships, including a placement at Bell Pottinger Public Affairs. He has a degree in History & International Relations from the University of Leicester. Ludo will provide support for a range of projects including the recently opened Trinity Walk shopping centre in Wakefield, on behalf of joint developers Area Property Partners, Sovereign Land and Shepherd Construction.

In addition, Halogen has announced the promotion of Christina Gillings, who joined Halogen in 2008, to Senior Account Manager. Christina is managing communications for two of the only three major shopping centres to open in the UK this year – Trinity Walk, Wakefield and Parkway Newbury.

Halogen is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2011, having formed from a merger of two of the property industry’s most experienced communications companies – Cadenza and Black & White - in 2001.
