Halogen and Property Week announce winners of exclusive fashion competition
Halogen, working on behalf of the Church Commissioners, has secured a three-page spread in today’s Property Week announcing the winners of First into Fashion, a competition run in conjunction with the London College of Fashion
Two LCF graduates, shoe designer Joanne Stoker and womenswear designer Julia Smith, have been selected by a panel of high profile judges to win a rent-free unit for six months in Connaught Village, the retail quarter of London’s Hyde Park Estate
Property Week will follow the young designers over the next six months as they fit out the unit and launch their new boutique in early November, under the mentorship of Connaught Village retailer Jimmy Choo
The competition is an industry first for landlord the Church Commissioners, which has been exploring innovative ways of bringing temporary tenants to Connaught Village. In addition to print and online coverage, Property Week also features interviews with the winners on Property Week TV
