Halogen leads industry first fashion exclusive

Halogen has led an industry first for landlord the Church Commissioners, facilitating a strategic partnership with the London College of Fashion and trade journal Property Week to raise awareness of Connaught Village – Hyde Park’s exclusive retail quarter

The ‘First into Fashion’ competition was created to offer a graduate from the London College of Fashion the opportunity to kick-start their own retail business in central London. The winner will secure a unit in Connaught Village rent-free for six months

Short listed entries were reviewed by a panel of judges, led by Grazia’s Fashion Editor-at-Large, Melanie Rickey, along with Rob Lines, Asset Manager from the Church Commissioners; Dai Rees, Course Director from the London College of Fashion, and shoe designer Jimmy Choo – an existing Village tenant

Property Week will cover the competition in print, online and on Property Week TV over the next six months, following the winner’s progress through the fit-out, opening of the unit and beyond
