Halogen helps launch new strategic vision for the Upper Lee Valley

Halogen is using its expertise in marketing and promoting the built environment to launch a new vision for the Upper Lee Valley in London. An event is being held at the BAFTA building in St. James on 4 December 2007, with the aim of attracting developers to this new area of opportunity in north London

The North London Strategic Alliance (NLSA), which manages the area’s business and investment potential, appointed Halogen to produce a new prospectus detailing the unique opportunities within the area

Halogen liaised between the NLSA, North London Business, local councils and the Mayor’s Office to create a dynamic vision document, bringing together ideas and policy from across the area. Entitled ‘The Opportunity Starts Here’, the prospectus, along with the accompanying summary document, gives people an insight into the Upper Lee Valley’s potential for regeneration.

The Upper Lee Valley is a six-mile corridor bordered by the Lee Valley Regional Park, extending north from Tottenham Hale to the M25 and taking in parts of Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest

Halogen is assisting the NLSA to reach private sector investors with its message, positioning the Upper Lee Valley as a location with massive investment potential

Halogen Account Manager Virginia van der Meer commented: “The Upper Lee Valley is an area of tremendous potential, with a development window of up to 15 years. With the Olympics coming to the lower part of the valley, this is a great time to promote change. The NLSA prospectus is designed to let developers know both the opportunities available to them, and how to go about getting started”

Halogen will assist the NLSA to promote the prospectus through the launch, a new website www.upperleevalley.org.uk, and an ongoing media campaign
